HIV/AIDS service organizations (Aidshilfe) in Germany offer counseling by phone, online and in person. Our counselors answer questions about HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases – quickly, professionally and confidentially.

The following questions often come up in our consultations:

  • How can I protect myself against HIV?
  • I'm afraid I have been infected. Was there actually a risk of transmission?
  • Should I have an HIV test?
  • I just found out that I am HIV-positive and want to know what I should do now.
  • A friend is HIV-positive, and I want to talk to someone about it.

Our counselors can also provide you with addresses of other services in your area, for example self-help groups.

For suggestions, or if you have questions or criticism regarding our work, please email or write to us by mail: Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe e.V., Werner Bock, Wilhelmstraße 138, 10963 Berlin.

Project Support

Our online counseling project is supported by the Association of Private Health Insurance (PKV). The PKV has been helping in the fight against the spread of HIV and AIDS for many years. In addition to the sponsorship of this nationwide online counseling service from the Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe, the PKV also supports further training workshops for doctors organized by the Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe.
